It’s another year and time for another family vacation. I really look forward to getting some time off and spend it with my family. I can’t wait to experience the various activities that are in store for us this time.

Last year, we spent five days in a beautiful cottage at a resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We would wake up to the sound of waves and the cool ocean breeze. We went swimming on the clear blue waters or just lounge around the huge infinity pool. We would sometimes gather shells or ride the banana boat. I tried my hand at water skiing but failed miserably. But we all had a lot of fun and that’s what is important.

Maybe this year, we can go on a hiking trip. We all love to hike and camp so that would be perfect for all of us. We could tell scary stories while roasting marshmallows. Maybe we could go for a swim on some lagoon or waterfalls that we may discover.

We could also go to a working ranch! Now, that would be so much fun. We could be milking the cows and feeding it hay or scrubbing the horse’s mane after riding it.

I can’t wait for our future family vacations! I know it would be so memorable.
