This is Car’s Lightning McQueen’s famous catchphrase before he starts a race. McQueen is a famous red race car who is vying for the prestigious Piston Cup. But on his way to compete for a three-way tie in California, he ended up in Radiator Springs. He met a lot of colourful characters during his stay.

I really love this animated movie because the cars are so life-like and beautiful. The characters of these movie are so funny especially Mater. Mater is a rusty tow truck with a missing hood and left headlight. He also claims he is the best backwards driver there is. Mater and Lightning developed a strong friendship by tipping tractors at night. They have been inseparable since.

Another character in Cars is Sally. She is a Porsche and Lightning’s love interest. Sally once worked as an attorney in LA before she came to Radiator Springs. Since she never left since, she is now the town’s attorney.

While in Radiator Springs, McQueen gained the friendship of all the residents except the town judge and mechanic, Doc Hudson. It turns out that Doc Hudson was a former Piston Cup champion and is in hiding from his former life.

Disney-Pixar’s Cars is one of my all-time favourite movies. And I love watching it over and over again.

When you have experience something traumatic or horrible, you just want to forget about it. When someone has hurt you or done you wrong, you just want to move on and forget about it. But no matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem too. It just lurks in your mind and comes out when you least expect it.

Forgetting is hard because we have as humans, tend to mull over things and asking question. If we keep asking ourselves “Why?” then we would never forget. Some people say that forgetting is just a coward’s way. One should not forget but instead move on and make sure that it won’t ever happen again. But in life, some things are easier said than done. It takes a lot of effort and determination to forget something painful. But it really takes a lot of courage to leave it all behind you and get on with your life.

Whether you’re trying to forget a lost love, abuse, or tragedy, it would never be erased and it will always be a part of who you are. The best that you can do is strive to be a better person, overcome every challenge and win in life.

I have been constantly craving for Dairy Queen’s Blizzard these past few days. I couldn’t drop by and buy one then because I was just so busy with work. I had the time to visit today and the shop was full of kids and adults all wanting to get their daily DQ fix. As I waited in line, I could taste the cool, sweet and creamy Blizzard in my throat. And when I finally got hold of my craved dessert, I couldn’t help but tip the container in glee.

Have you had certain food cravings as well? Not only pregnant women get cravings but we sometime get them too. Like last week, I had this craving for guacamole and chips that I even dreamt about it. It was only after that I got to eat it did I finally feel… complete.

I would like to think that my personal cravings had to do with the weather, atmosphere and moods. On rainy days, I would often crave for a hot bowl of chicken soup when I am alone. But if I am with friends, I would rather have a steaming cup of coffee or hot cocoa.

It’s another year and time for another family vacation. I really look forward to getting some time off and spend it with my family. I can’t wait to experience the various activities that are in store for us this time.

Last year, we spent five days in a beautiful cottage at a resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We would wake up to the sound of waves and the cool ocean breeze. We went swimming on the clear blue waters or just lounge around the huge infinity pool. We would sometimes gather shells or ride the banana boat. I tried my hand at water skiing but failed miserably. But we all had a lot of fun and that’s what is important.

Maybe this year, we can go on a hiking trip. We all love to hike and camp so that would be perfect for all of us. We could tell scary stories while roasting marshmallows. Maybe we could go for a swim on some lagoon or waterfalls that we may discover.

We could also go to a working ranch! Now, that would be so much fun. We could be milking the cows and feeding it hay or scrubbing the horse’s mane after riding it.

I can’t wait for our future family vacations! I know it would be so memorable.
